This means designers can specify proportions, rail-and-stile widths, panel layouts, and glazing placement to match the architectural rhythm of the façade rather than working around a catalog.
How do you handle glazing, hardware, and decorative details?
Glass can be specified as clear, frosted, seeded, reeded, or client-supplied specialty glazing, and we accommodate custom lite configurations to match adjacent windows. Hardware, clavos, straps, and pull handles can be sourced from our standard offerings or supplied by the designer from a preferred vendor — we build the door to receive whatever hardware program the project calls for.
What lead times should I plan for on a custom wood door?
Custom wood doors typically run four to six weeks from approved shop drawings to delivery, depending on species availability, finish complexity, and hardware sourcing. We issue a project schedule at order confirmation and coordinate with the builder or general contractor so the door arrives when the site is ready, not before or after.
