LiftMaster has three tiers of operators for different client types. At each level, the operators are built to do different things. The most expensive residential operator, the 8500W is a jackshaft side-mount operator that is used to free up ceiling space in your garage and is ultra-quiet.
If you’re in the market for new features or your current one stops working properly. In a lot of cases, you can repair the existing operator for around $300, so you have to decide if you want to spend $300 on replacement parts or $499 – $749 on an entirely new opener with the latest features.
